After putting in several years of work down south the Atlanta-based duo of Kaine (left) and D-Roc (Right) have had two hit albums (2000’s Thug Walkin and 2002’s Alley: The Return of the Ying Yang Twins) and a string of hit radio and club singles ("Whistle While You Twurk", "Ying Yang In This Thang", "Say I Yi Yi" and "By Myself") to their credit.

After striking it big this year on Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz' "Get Low," as well as their own single "Naggin," group members D-Rock and Kaine have released their 3rd album Me & My Brother. They also recorded a single with Britney Spears, hoping the track will dramatically raise their rising profiles. The single, "I Got That Boom Boom," is earmarked for Spears' latest album Get In The Zone.

Whats behind the name Ying Yang Twinz?

Well Basically we are oppsites D-Roc is a party animal while Kaine is the party pooper you just won't know what to expect. Our styles are both different, its nothing alike but balances out together on a track. We have a unique original sound with soul and we go back deep to the old school and want to bring that feeling out.

How did you guys get started in the business?

We got started from the Hard Boys a group that put ATL on the map in the early 90's before Outkast & Goodie Mobb. They were much older than us but we were able to get a start through them. We eventually got to be heard on a So So Def Bass Allstars compilation album. The Bass music game kind of died & then we came out with "Whistle While You Twurk.

How do you feel about the success of "Get Low" ?

Well everyone thought it was an overnight success but we were determinded, that track was written from years ago, me and my brother wrote that when we were 17... but we waited and it seems we hit it just the right time for it to come out.

So what do see in the future for your careers?

More collaborations, you can find us on the new Nappy Roots CD Wooden Leather, we did a couple of remixes and we did a strip club song with Britney Spears called "I got that Boom Boom" we didn't have to change or try and crossover we kept it real and true.

Have you guys been able to tour outside the U.S.?

Yeah we perfomed in Jamaica and loved it down there, we are also getting ready to start the Me & My Brother Tour to promote this new album.

Whats Your Favorite Track on the new album?

The Nerve Calmer
